Our New Addition

No, we are are not pregnant! But after nick got done reading the book Marley and Me, and begging me. We have added a new furry friend into our home. This is "Woody" half chocolate lab half Weimreiner. We adopted him from a local rescue center. Surprisingly he know more tricks than Abbey and at times even behaves better. They two children are learning to get along but have plenty of competition. They compete for their parents attention, for bones, toys food, and even water! It is definatley a new adventure, but hopefully one we will survive!

The girls getting ready to go out!

Another cenote.. these are underground water resevoirs that the ancient Mayans used for sacrifices or for their main water source. We actually got to go swimming in this one. Those long branch like things are actually roots from the tree above! Super cool!

Nick's dad with the Mayan women! They loved him! Everywhere we went they called him Mr. Big!

Jungle Cruise!!

The view from our hotel room :)

For Christmas, Nick's parents took us to Cancun! I know we are spoiled! It was so awesome to see a different part of the world and catch up on some relaxation! Nick's whole family went and we were able to spend some quality time together! We did a lot of fun things like, taking speed boats through the jungle and stopping to snorkel at a beautiful reef. We also visited a Mayan village and went to the ancient Chitchen Itza Mayan ruins. We also enjoyed just laying on the beach and by the pool! We had such a wonderful time!

Christmas!!

Our Beautiful Christmas Tree! Real of Course!
Nick found his Dad's vintage jacket, while I sported Nick's letterman. We look like we could fit in at highschool. Right?

These are a few pictures from our Christmas!! We had a low key Christmas and spent it here in California! I had to work Christmas day So Nick and I spent Christmas eve with the three of us (me, Nick, and Abbey) opening gifts, eating pizza, watching movies, and reading Christmas stories! It was fun spending a Christmas with just our little family. On Christmas Day we headed to Santa Maria to eat dinner with Nick's family! It was wonderful to all be together again and celebrate the birth of our Savior together! It was truly a wonderful Christmas, eventhough I didn't get to go home this year! I missed and thought of all of you back in Utah!
